Breaking news, friends: hodgevodge will soon be graced by the presence of Burke Cherrie, boyfriend, travel companion, and recent blog convert. He's been so totally jealous that I get to post my thoughts and fears and excitement about our upcoming adventure that he's convinced me to let him post as well. I'm trying really hard not to say I told you so. But you guys know I'm thinking it. Enjoy his perspective! I'm going to finish off my lazy Sunday by reading Culture Shock!
